Balance major history with two longer landscape and food chapters. Extra Chengdu time creates space for a panda outing without making every day an early start.
This is an original planning brief, not a fixed-date departure or confirmed quotation. The nights below add up to 18; arrival and final departure are included in the 19-day length.

Select Mutianyu, Jinshanling or another permitted route according to walking level. Keep this as a dedicated countryside day rather than combining it with every major city landmark.

The route’s tradeoff
The Sichuan-to-Guangxi connection determines the transfer day. Keep that day light and retain the Yangshuo buffer if a river outing is weather affected.
